this is me on pretty normal average day

I’m not afraid to say my age and probably won’t ever be, even when I’m 45 so with that being said, I’m a 27 year old newlywed (as of 10-10-09 to B) and also a mother of the most adorable little girl (gck-1) who is 23 months old and has a passion for “soes” a.k.a. shoes :)

I’m not one of those people who lives at the beach but doesn’t actually go to the beach. I love the beach. In fact, I went there almost every day when I was pregnant because I heard (back in high school) that you look skinnier when you’re tan. 37 extra pounds is 37 pounds. No amount of tan could hide that!

If I could only eat three meals for the rest of my life they would be mac n’ cheese, lasgana with nacho doritos to scoop it up with, and chips and salsa. A lot of you may be thinking to yourself, “chips and salsa is a side not a meal.” Oh are you ever wrong! You’ve obviously never seen the amount of chips and salsa I can put away in one sitting!

I’d like to say that I’m a “crafter in training.” I take pictures, but I don’t add effects to them. I scrapbook, but not the artsy fartsy kind, they’re more random and collage-y… like me ;) I just got a sewing machine so until I conquer how to use it, sewing will not be my forte. I plant things and love to watch them grow, but by no means am I a gardener. So a “crafter in training” I am but someday, some sweet day, I will become the crafter that my creative heart longs to be.

B says that I have OCD but I say it’s just being organized. I like things clean and put away. Organization… right?!
