Rudolph?! But it’s March!

I don’t have any super great pictures that help capture this but I tried to take a couple for you. And no, I don’t like to take pictures of myself after I’ve been crying or while I’m crying so you’re lucky I even remembered to do so.

I’m not quite sure what happens to you when you cry but I look ridiculous. Sure your eyes get red, mine do too. Do they get a little puffy and kinda swollen looking? Mine do that too. And they kinda burn slightly? Yup, you’re not alone.

But what about your nose? Yes, mine runs. Stupid snot. Oh yours does too?! Hmm… I knew I wasn’t alone ;) But what about the color of your nose? Does it turn beat red like Rudolph?

Oh no? It doesn’t? Well poo on you. Cause mine does. I mean bright red. I captured the above pictures a little too late ’cause they’re not showing off the true redness of Rudolph’s replacement.

It was always embarrassing growing up with a Rudolph-y crier nose. I was the middle child (nothing wrong with that) who was pretty emotional and actually “sensitive” seems like a more appropriate term. Bluntly putting it, I was somewhat of a cry baby. Agh. That hurt. So I can’t help my emotions sometimes, I’m a girl!

It’s the hardest thing to try and cover up. I could wipe away tears and put a smile on my face but even like 5 minutes after I’d get done crying, even barely crying, my nose, was Rudolphed.

I’ve learned to accept the flaw that my nose sometimes produces. But there sure are times when I’d like not to have to explain why my nose is the color it is ;)

Am I the only one this ever happens to?!

    You poor thing.
I do cry at the drop of a pin. But I don’t get a red nose. Sorry. That is your special talent.
I do hope you were watching a sad movie to bring on the waterworks.

I get a little red but not Bright Red. I’m an emotional type too. I tear up at the most ridiculous times. It can be emabarrassing and the harder I try to stop myself the more I want to cry.

My face gets splotchy and my eyes will stay blood shot for hours. It is very frustrating.
