Do you have a question about something you saw on Sand and Starfish? This list below of the frequently asked questions should help you out. If your question isn’t here and  you still need and answer, just shoot an email our way and we’ll get back to you asap!

 

➕   Can I wear my bracelet / necklace in the water (ocean, bath, shower…)?

YES! I have personally tested the bracelets and necklaces in water so you don’t have to worry if you forget to take them off when you head into the water. Ocean tested, beach approved! Your tassel may look a little “wonky” after it gets wet so just reshape it while it’s drying and you’re good to go!

 

➕   Can I use my bracelet / necklace as a diffuser?

You can, but only if your item has wood or lava beads. These beads are able to soak up the oils unlike the stone and semi-precious stones.

To use as an oil diffuser, put 2-3 drops of your favorite oil onto the wooden beads. Allow the oil to soak into the beads.

If your item has a tassel, do not put them on your tassel! Not all oils are clear so they could stain the tassel!

The fragrance/oil will last from several hours to several days, depending on the oil or fragrance. Reapply as desired.

 

➕   Shipping

All packages are shipped First Class USPS (unless otherwise noted) and include a tracking number but not insurance. Once shipped, most orders generally arrive in 3-9 business days. Sometimes your items might get delayed due to holidays or weather conditions. Once shipped, I cannot accept responsibility for products lost in transit. I cannot refund or reship any packages.

I do not make items or ship them on holidays.

 

➕   Where will my order ship from?

All items and made and shipped from my office in Florida.

 

➕   How long will it take for me to get my order?

Once an order has been placed and payment is received, the order will be sent within 5 business days. Orders generally arrive 3-9 days after the product(s) have been sent.

 

➕   Returns

Please be aware that all items listed are unique and handmade, and variations will occur in fabric/shells/bead color.
All items returned for a refund must be returned in the original condition. If you are returning an item that is not faulty or broken but it arrives to me damaged because of lack of proper packaging on your part, you will be held responsible for these goods. Shipping will not be reimbursed.

Replacements will be sent for faulty items within 7 days of the date that you receive your product(s).

I will require proof of faulty items in the form of photographs and a brief description.

 

➕   Exchanges

If exchanging a product(s), please ship them in a padded envelope or box as to not damage the items. If you are exchanging an item that is not faulty or broken but it arrives to me damaged because of lack of proper packaging on your part, you will be held responsible for these goods. Items must be returned in the same shape they were delivered. You must also include a copy of your invoice. I cannot accept responsibility for products lost in transit. Once your item has arrived, you will receive a refund for the cost of the item. Shipping fees will not be reimbursed. You can then place a new order.

 

➕   Do you do wholesale orders?

Unfortunately at this time I am no longer accepting wholesale order requests.
