Fuze Inspired Smoothie
Thanks again to my dear friend Kellie for giving me the idea to add Fuze drinks instead of milk or yogurt to my smoothies. I kinda made a slight boo boo this morning and used both Fuze and yogurt. I will admit that I have blonde moments and today’s smoothie was obviously a mirror of that.
Today’s breakfast smoothie included the following delicious ingredients:
2 bananas, 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1 6 oz. yoplait raspberry yogurt, 1/2 cup Fuze Blueberry Raspberry Slenderize Drink, 1 cup crushed ice and 1 orange. Makes 2 tall smoothies.
I had to give the Fuze drink in the smoothie another go. This time I tasted the drink before I added it to my smoothie. The blueberry raspberry flavor was actually much better tasting than the tropical punch one. It still tasted like a “diet” drink, but that reflects the lines name… Slenderize. I wouldn’t have normally added the yogurt but it was raspberry flavored and I thought it would go perfectly with the drink. And boy was I right! I make these right before we leave the house, like literally make and go, and B had already finished his before I even got to taste mine! He loved the mason jar as the cup too. He thought it was a nice touch :) However, the consistency, not exactly how I like it. It was just a little too watery. It could be from the orange and the drink and the ice… I think it needed a little extra heaviness and I just didn’t have anything on hand. But it was still tasty. And it woke me up real quick. I opted to not drink my normal cup ‘o joe this morning to see how well the smoothie would perk me up. Very happy with it!
I want to thank those of you who have written me with smoothie recipes or suggestions. I love you. I really do. You’re all so amazing. I can’t wait to try them all. And of course, give you all the credit! For those of you who love smoothies as much as I do and would like to share a recipe or suggestion, send it on over and I’ll happily try it!

If you made this one again, would you change anything? would you add the Fuze and the yogurt? I love the sound of the blueberry raspberry Fuze so I might try that flavor first.
Ya know, I’ve been thinking about this a lot and I just can’t figure out what I’d do differently. Possibly change out the orange for peaches. Any suggestions? Cause I’m a lil stumped.
