Taco Dip

One of my new years resolutions was to make or try a new recipe each week… with pictures.

Now this isn’t the hardest recipe and I’ve seen my mom make it but I myself have never made it.

Week One: Taco Dip

Super easy with super yummy results.

Ingredients:

Tostitos (whichever kind you prefer)

1 Tub of cream cheese

1 small can of sliced black olives

1 or 2 small roma tomatoes

1 small head of lettuce

shredded cheese (about 1 cup)

1 packet of taco seasoning

Step 1:

Get your party platter ready! Grab a small mixing bowl and seasoning packet. Mix together both ingredients and then spread evenly over the platter.

Step 2:

Chop that lettuce up!

Step 3:

Chop up those black olives and tomato. I only used 1 tomato which was perfectly fine with me!

Step 4:

Shred that cheese…

Step 5:

Cover in cheese! Then EAT EAT EAT!

This is perfect for even more add ons like jalepenos, onions, beans, even meat.

I prefer the super easy super cheap super fast way but to each their own!

Just cover with saran wrap when you’re not eating it and store in the fridge.

FYI… the part that gets scooped up leaves a little bit of H2O the following day/hours. Not a lot… just don’t eat that part!

Hope you enjoy!

I love this stuff. It was a party staple growing up in my family with a little variation. We start the bottom with refried beans and add chopped green onions to the top making a 7 layer dip.

    Yummy!
