A Droopy Winter Garden
JustLove.lyThings (Heather) wrote a post on her sad winter garden a couple days ago. Honestly, I kinda fell in love with it and will definitely be stealing some of her ideas, like that giant S, and a thermometer, and I’ll be making lattice (or try to), and definitely adding a mirror – it’ll add more light! I should have done that this winter. Oh well, tomorrow’s a new day!
Without further ado, meet my ‘ready for spring’ garden…
Hmm… The super awesome purple flowers kinda make the rest of it look not so bad. Either way, the carrots are staying, I’m gonna eat that broccoli in 1 bite (woah big meal there!), and then I’m going to get my hands dirty and plant seeds everywhere else this weekend while listening to “Dirt” by Phish on repeat. I should’ve started my seeds indoors already but I totally forgot and since the weather here is quite amazing, I’ll just start them in the garden and see how they do. Really hoping they do well though. I’d really love an incredible garden for us to munch on for more than 2 weeks!
