So here is what I daydream about…
I love the blue from that middle picture of me and B at the beach… and I’d like to somehow incorporate more of it in the room. I was actually thinking about doing some paper mache balls, big ones like one to two feet in diameter and hanging them from different lengths above her tent. There’s a mesh top on the tent that she can see through and the paper mache balls who almost look like clouds above. Any thoughts?
No closet doors… but I was thinking possibly a dark dark fuschia-y velvet-y curtain… yes? no? suggestions? I’d also love some custom shelving in there. I’m all about organization!
The walls don’t look so high from this view. And I can’t wait to get that dresser outta here!
Now you can see how high these walls really are. And how bare they really look. On the top of the tent is where the see through mesh is. And the paper mache balls would hang above. If, in fact, that was the route I went.
Oh how I long for this fan to be an adorable chandelier. I just couldn’t do that. Florida summers are bearable without a fan. Too bad I couldn’t have the best of both worlds.
I hate that the curtains don’t go all the way to the floor. It drives me crazy! But they were the only thing that we had when we moved and I’m thinking the only way to remedy this issue without spending a fortune is to make new ones myself.
As completely uncreative as it is to hang initials or their name over your childs bed, I’m doing it. I already bought the canvases and I’m sticking to them. Don’t worry, the way they will be created will lack anything but creativity.
See that tiny green rectangle in the middle of the picture, that’s the color that I was thinking about doing the diamonds in. Again, if that’s the way I choose to go.
Now after seeing the pictures, you can see the problem that I have with the placement of things. The dresser has to be by the closet and the tent really can’t go anywhere else but where it is. The tent stays and so does the dresser. For now. So any suggestions on how I can decorate? Anything in the room can be moved. The mirror, the hook flowers, the pictures… and anything can be added. I’m completely all ears! Now, I’ll be daydreaming if you need me :)
