Weeds TV Series

When we first moved into our new house, we were without cable or the internet for 17 days. So I decided that it was time to stop trying to figure out how I could get another month of free service through netflix and just sign up for it already. We rented a couple movies that we’ve been dying to see since we’ve only seen 3 in the theater since gck-1 was born. The movies were good, nothing special. Then I decided to give the TV series “Weeds” a try. I had heard good things about it when the first season came out but we didn’t have showtime then so I never got to see it.

I blame this series on the reason why I had a million things to do the week before my wedding. You see, just like the drug, the series was completely addicting. I watched 4 episodes in a row and would have kept going but needed sleep. The next night, I made B watch it with me. We watched 2 more and called it a night. I was already hooked and now I think he might be as well. The first disc had 10 episodes and we finished it in 3 nights.

The worst part? Waiting for our netflix to get shipped and bring us the next one.

We went through all 4 seasons of weeds in about 2 weeks, give or take a couple days.

The worst part? Waiting for the next season to come out so it will arrive in my mailbox.

I can quite honestly say that this is the only TV show that I have actually enjoyed enough to get hooked.

I hate waiting.

Anyone else have any shows that they’re hooked on?

I’m hooked on so many shows: Mad Men, Glee, The Office, Top Chef, Brothers and Sisters.

Weeds is on my list of shows to catch up with via DVD. I haven’t seen it yet.

We love watching Top Chef too! But there are some nights when The Ruins (on MTV) gets priority. We’re both athletic so we always think we could beat all those people at that game. But as far as cooking… I have a LONG way to go before I’ll ever consider myself a chef!
