Custom Order for Mary
Well I guess it was contagious…
Kellie’s sister, Mary, saw all the goodies that I had made for her and Paul and decided that she needed her very own custom made creation. Exciting!
I’ve been wanting to post this so bad but had to wait to make sure that it arrived first. Can’t spoil all the fun right?!

I’m on a roll with the dresden plates. I am so in love with them. They’re just so beautiful!

She wanted something a little larger than a lunch tote, more along the lines of an overnight bag. I put a pair of shoes, 2 pairs of pants and 2 shirts in there and still had some room. Perfect size!

I wasn’t sure if she wanted a pocket or not but I added one just in case! I’ve never made a pocket before and it was so incredibly easy! The snaps were also a first for me. I’ve been doing a lot of first-timers lately with my custom orders and I’ve been blessed to have each one of them turn out perfectly!

I can’t wait to hear how much she likes it. I almost kept it for myself ;) Nothing cuter than being able to sport a dresden everywhere you go!

adorable! and so professional looking. :)
LOVE!
Very pretty. I have a dresden plate quilt kit from the 70s that I’ve been too intimidated to even begin to make. I think I got it from one of my grandmothers when I first started sewing and making quilt-like things. Maybe I shouldn’t be so intimidated by it, but piecing curvy bits and circles is not something I have been able to get a grasp for yet.
I love it so much! It really is the perfect size and the pocket inside was such a good idea! Thanks Stephanie.
Thank you for the wonderful comment! I am IN LOVE with your blog. I am trying to come up with a cohesive style like this one. Did you do it yourself? Jealous!
