She’s not our first tropical storm that we’ve been through.

In fact, the night I went into labor with gck-1, there was a tropical storm and a full moon!

But Debby’s been a nasty one.

She cracked my neighbors front tree in half and tore apart my bamboo wind chime. She bent flowers over completely, tore the heads off some and even ripped the whole stalk right off! She had her way with our palm trees and I found a dozen or so palm fronds all over the yard.

The rain that she brought made the lines at Target comparable to the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas.

She’s almost gone today. Still some wind and maybe some rain but I’m just glad that she’s leaving by the weekend. I love me my beach time! But for those of you she’s still messing with, prayers for you!
